The Catholic Edit: Ave Maria Tee/Carmelite.

I know St. Therese of Lisieux Feast Day is October 1st and it has come and gone. But, this Saintly dear friend to so many including myself has always had a special place in my heart in all seasons. I created this version of the Ave Maria Tee in honor of her and The Carmelite order’s over 800 year tradition of deep devotion to our Mother Mary.

Growing up St. Therese was actually my first saintly friend and I was first introduced to her by my Mother through her own deep love for “the little flower”. A love we both shared until her passing in 2012 from cancer. I still feel my Mother’s intercessory connection to St. Therese while practicing “her little way” of faith and the roses…

O the roses! I have received so many over the years even too many to count. Knowing my prayers were heard and even answered in ways I never imagined. Reminding me of what a beautiful, yet powerful intercessory St. Therese can be. Even recently I prayed this prayer and found roses given to me the next day in the most unlikely way.

If you are unfamiliar with dear St. Therese, I would suggest visiting The Society if the Little Flower, it is a beautiful curated site. I myself reference them often.

The Ave Maria Carmelite Tee edit:

  1. Ave Maria Carmelite Tee. In honor of Our Blessed Mother Mary. I created this vintage style graphic tee inspired by my beloved childhood statue of Our Lady.

  2. 33 Days to Merciful Love: A Do-It-Yourself Retreat in Preparation for Consecration to Divine Mercy. 33 Days to Merciful Love journeys with one of the most beloved saints of modern times, St. Therese of Lisieux, and concludes with a consecration to Divine Mercy. So whether you want to deepen your love of Divine Mercy or have a devotion to St. Therese, 33 Days to Merciful Love is the book for you.” -Publisher

  3. OLMC Crown of Stars | Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Premium Brown Scapular So, durable and also contains a pocket for the Miraculous medal. Love this little detail.

  4. You know by now I love anything Be A Heart designs and Erica’s Our Lady Belt Bag is beyond lovely with it’s Marian blue lining and gold Marian cross exterior detail.

As I always say after a Catholic Edit. Please first always Support your Local Catholic Businesses owners or online Catholic Creatives when making purchases. It is such a beautiful form of ministry to support.

Mother Mary, Pray for Us. St, Therese, Pray for Us.

Love, Cynthia
